North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Stokes overwhelmed by Mount Airy

Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Mount Airy improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Granite Bears travel to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to face the Cardinals in a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 0-3. East Wilkes lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against East Surry (Pilot Mountain, NC)

The Sauras now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forbush for a non-league test on Thursday, August 21. South Stokes will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 3-1.
