Kentucky High School Volleyball - Wolfe County over Nicholas County

August 19, 2025: Campton, KY 41301

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Wolfe County Wolves (Campton, KY) and the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), observed Wolfe County's volleyball team top Nicholas County by a count of 3-0.

The Wolves (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Blazer notched a victory over Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Bluejackets battle the Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 21. Nicholas County will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Lions go into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to East Carter (Grayson, KY).
