Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Santa Fe South Saints (Oklahoma City, OK) and the host Southeast Spartans (Oklahoma City, OK), observed Santa Fe South's volleyball team hold off Southeast by a tally of 3-2.

The Saints (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Midwest City (Midwest City, OK). The Bombers go into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Midwest City was edged by Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Capitol Hill for a non-league battle on Friday, August 22. Southeast will encounter a Redwolves squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK). The Redwolves record now stands at 1-2.
