The Union County Panthers the visiting Rabun County Wildcats softball squad by a count of 3-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers play the Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 5. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-0 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA).
The Wildcats (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Stephens County (Toccoa, GA). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
