Mississippi High School Volleyball - Brandon tips Lewisburg

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Brandon Bulldogs (Brandon, MS) and the host Lewisburg Patriots (Olive Branch, MS), observed Brandon's volleyball team hold off Lewisburg by a count of 2-1.

The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady Academy (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Crescents enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Our Lady Academy got by Newton County (Decatur, MS), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Patriots battle the Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, August 5. Lewisburg will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Commodores enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Newton County (Decatur, MS).
