The Loretto Angels held off the host Franklin Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Angels now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hanks for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 23. Loretto will confront a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Franklin (El Paso, TX). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
The Cougars (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Coronado (El Paso, TX). The Thunderbirds enter the test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Coronado was nudged by Franklin (El Paso, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
