The Spartans enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Nicholas County (Summersville, WV).

The Warriors now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Philip Barbour for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 24. Pocahontas County will confront a Colts team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Hoover (Clendenin, WV). The Colts record now stands at 1-0.
