The Franklin Cougars topped the visiting Loretto Angels volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cougars now have a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coronado for a test on Tuesday, August 23. Franklin will confront a Thunderbirds team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Franklin (El Paso, TX). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-1.

The Angels (3-4) will now prepare for their test against Hanks (El Paso, TX). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Hanks was knocked off by Franklin (El Paso, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
