Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Butler County Bears (Morgantown, KY), 11-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Green Waves confront the Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 25. Meade County will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Hawks enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Nelson County (Bardstown, KY).

The Bears now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Muhlenberg County for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 22.
