Plainwell Trojans (Plainwell, MI) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI), 7-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 22. Plainwell will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Chieftains enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI).

The Trojans now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pennfield for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, August 24.
