Bristow Pirates (Bristow, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK), 7-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sequoyah for a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 20.

With the loss, Sperry falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Kansas (Kansas, OK) to face the Comets in a 3A challenge on Monday, August 29. The Comets enter the challenge with a record of 4-3.
