With the win, McMullen County upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Cowboys host Orange Grove (Orange Grove, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, August 26. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Orange Grove won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against London (Corpus Christi, TX)

The Beavers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pettus for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 23.
