The Miller Grove Hornets held off the visiting Sulphur Bluff Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Hornets now have a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sunnyvale for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 23. Miller Grove will confront a team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Kaufman (Kaufman, TX). The record now stands at 7-2.

The Bears (0-6) will now prepare for their test against North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, North Hopkins was nudged by Overton (Overton, TX), 2-0, in a non-league test.
