In Saturday's non-league contest, the Southside Christian Sabres (Simpsonville, SC) volleyball squad were winner over the host Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Sabres battle the Summerville Green Wave (Summerville, SC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 20. Southside Christian will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Green Wave go into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to James Island (Charleston, SC).

With the loss, Union County moves to 0-3 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC) to battle the Rebels in a non-league contest on Saturday, August 20. The Rebels go into the contest with a record of 0-0.
