The West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY) volleyball overcame the host Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), 3-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, West Jessamine betters its record to 3-1 on the year. The Colts host East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY) to face the Jaguars in a District 46 outing on Tuesday, August 23. The Jaguars go into the outing with a record of 0-1. East Jessamine lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY)

The Warriors now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Pulaski County for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 20. Southwestern will face a Maroons squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 1-0.
