Sonoraville Phoenix (Calhoun, GA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Adairsville Tigers (Adairsville, GA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sonoraville advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Phoenix host Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA) to face the Bruins in a test on Thursday, August 22. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Tigers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Paulding for a non-league test on Saturday, August 24. Adairsville will face a Wolfpack squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 8-3.
