North Carolina High School Volleyball - Falls Lake tips Person

Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) and the host Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC), observed Falls Lake's volleyball team hold off Person by a tally of 2-1.

The Firebirds (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Orange got by Jordan (Durham, NC), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Rockets meet the Franklinton Rams (Franklinton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 22. Person will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC).
