North Carolina High School Soccer - South Brunswick knocks off Purnell Swett

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting South Brunswick Cougars soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Purnell Swett Rams.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers go into the non-league outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Jack Britt got by Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Rams play the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, August 21. Purnell Swett will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Fighting Scots go into the outing with a 1-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Whiteville (Whiteville, NC).
