The Bleckley County Royals softball team scored 20 runs and held the visiting Southwest Patriots to 0 in the Royals league win on Tuesday.

The Royals now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington County for a 1A D-I Region 2 battle on Thursday, August 22. Bleckley County will confront a Golden Hawks team coming off a 17-13 league win over Dublin (Dublin, GA). The Golden Hawks record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Southwest moves to 0-3 on the season. The Patriots travel to Windsor Academy (Macon, GA) to confront the Knights in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 21. The Knights come into the battle with a record of 1-4. Windsor Academy lost 9-1 in their recent non-league battle against Gatewood (Eatonton, GA)
