Georgia High School Softball - Creekview can't get by Lassiter

The Lassiter Trojans edged the visiting Creekview Grizzlies softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Trojans play the Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) in a 5A Region 6 challenge, on Wednesday, August 21. Lassiter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 8-0 league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, GA).
The Grizzlies (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Sprayberry (Marietta, GA). The Yellow Jackets enter the 5A Region 6 challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Sprayberry was nudged by Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA), 7-1, in a non-league challenge.
