The East Forsyth Broncos softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Madison County Red Raiders to 2 in the Broncos league win on Tuesday.

The Broncos now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walnut Grove for a 4A Region 8 battle on Thursday, August 22. East Forsyth will confront a Warriors team coming off a 10-7 league win over North Oconee (Bogart, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Madison County moves to 3-3 on the season. The Red raiders host Stephens County (Toccoa, GA) to confront the Indians in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 21. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 10-0. Stephens County won 6-4 in their recent non-league battle against Elbert County (Elberton, GA)
