The Echols County Wildcats softball team scored 23 runs and held the host Turner County Titans to 0 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Charlton County for a 1A D-II Region 2 battle on Thursday, August 22. Echols County will confront a Indians team coming off a 9-7 league loss to Clinch County (Homerville, GA). The Indians record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Turner County moves to 0-4 on the season. The Titans travel to Lanier County (Lakeland, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a 1A D-II Region 2 battle on Thursday, August 22. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a record of 6-2. Lanier County won 10-2 in their recent league battle against Irwin County (Ocilla, GA)
