Next, the Tigers play the Agra Bearcats (Agra, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 22. Wellston will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 14-2 non-league loss to Carney (Carney, OK).

The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Covington-Douglas (Covington, OK). The Wildcats enter the Class B challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Covington-Douglas was routed by Waukomis (Waukomis, OK), 14-4, in a non-league challenge.
