The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) and the host Irwin County Indians (Ocilla, GA), observed Lanier County's softball team prevail over Irwin County by a tally of 10-2.

The Bulldogs (6-2) will now prepare for their bout against Turner County (Ashburn, GA). The Titans go into the 1A D-II Region 2 bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Turner County was routed by Echols County (Statenville, GA), 23-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Indians clash with the Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 2 bout, on Thursday, August 22. Irwin County will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 13-4 league win over Brooks County (Quitman, GA).
