In Tuesday's non-league match, the host John Milledge Academy Trojans softball team scored a tight 8-5 win over the Southland Academy Raiders.
The Trojans (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA). The Lancers come into the non-league match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Central Fellowship Christian Academy was routed by Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA), 8-5, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Raiders confront the Terrell Academy Eagles (Dawson, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, August 22. Southland Academy will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 19-7 non-league win over Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA).
