Oklahoma High School Softball - Putnam City North succumbs to Southmoore

In Tuesday's non-league test, the Southmoore SaberCats (Moore, OK) softball squad overwhelmed the host Putnam City North Panthers (Oklahoma City, OK), by a tally of 12-2.

Next, the SaberCats clash with the Moore Lions (Moore, OK) in a 6A District 1 test, on Thursday, August 22. Southmoore will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Lions go into the test with a 4-1 record after their 8-4 non-league loss to Edmond Memorial (Edmond, OK).

The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Yukon (Yukon, OK). The Millers go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, Yukon prevailed over Broken Arrow (Broken Arrow, OK), 9-3, in a non-league test.
