In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Barren County Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Caverna Colonels.
The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Franklin-Simpson was beaten by Warren East (Bowling Green, KY), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Colonels meet the Cumberland County Panthers (Burkesville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 22. Caverna will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Clay County (Manchester, KY).
