With the loss, Canyon drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Villanova Prep (Ojai, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, August 24. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Villanova Prep won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Fillmore (Fillmore, CA)
