In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Mitchell County Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Highland Christian Academy EAGLES.
The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA). The Yellow Jackets come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record.
Next, the EAGLES play the Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 22. Highland Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ware County (Waycross, GA).
