In Tuesday's league challenge, the host West Lowndes Panthers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Okolona Chieftains.

The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Kemper County (DeKalb, MS). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Kemper County was nudged by Scott Central (Forest, MS), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Chieftains meet the Aberdeen Bulldogs (Aberdeen, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 22. Okolona will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to East Webster (Maben, MS).
