North Carolina High School Volleyball - Starmount can't hold off West Wilkes

In Tuesday's non-league match, the West Wilkes Blackhawks (Millers Creek, NC) volleyball squad tipped the host Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC), by a final score of 3-2.

Next up, the Blackhawks confront the Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, August 21. West Wilkes will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record. The Buckin' Elks enter the match with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC).

The Rams (0-2) will now prepare for their match against Wilkes Central (Wilkesboro, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 2-1 record. In their last match, Wilkes Central held off Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC), 3-0, in a non-league match.
