The Eagle River Wolves flag football squad scored 19 points and limited the visiting Bettye Davis East Anchorage Thunderbirds to 13 in the Wolves league victory on Wednesday.

In their next game, the Wolves face the South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK) in a Cook Inlet challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Eagle River will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.

The Thunderbirds (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Eagles enter the Cook Inlet challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, West Anchorage was edged by Dimond (Anchorage, AK), 14-6, in a league challenge.
