The Riverside-Durham Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Eastern Alamance Eagles to 1 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern Alamance for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 3.

The Eagles (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Person (Roxboro, NC). The Rockets enter the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Person was tipped by Garner (Garner, NC), 2-1, in a non-league bout.
