In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host T.C. Roberson Rams volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Pisgah Bears.

The Rams (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bearden (Knoxville, TN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.

Next, the Bears meet the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. Pisgah will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC).
