Georgia High School Softball - Shiloh succumbs to Decatur

August 20, 2025: Snellville, GA 30039

In Wednesday's league test, the Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Shiloh Generals (Snellville, GA), by a margin of 12-2.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dunwoody for a 5A Region 4 outing on Thursday, August 21. Decatur will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Roswell (Roswell, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Shiloh drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Arabia Mountain (Lithonia, GA) to clash with the Rams in a 5A Region 4 bout on Thursday, August 21. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Arabia Mountain won 14-4 in their recent non-league bout against Cedar Grove (Ellenwood, GA)
