In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Grand Ledge Comets volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Frankenmuth Eagles.
The Comets (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against DeWitt (DeWitt, MI). The Panthers enter the Capital Area - Blue challenge with a 2-2 record.
Next, the Eagles meet the Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, August 26. Frankenmuth will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Mavericks enter the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Western (Parma, MI).
