West Virginia High School Volleyball - Musselman over Jefferson

In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Musselman Applemen volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Jefferson Cougars.

The Applemen (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Hoggard achieved victory over Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a Eastern Panhandle test on Tuesday, August 26. Jefferson will face a Patriots squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Patriots record now stands at 2-1.
