With the win, Lumberton improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Pirates host Hoke County (Raeford, NC) to meet the Bucks in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 21. The Bucks come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Hoke County won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC)

Next, the Trojans meet the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 21. West Brunswick will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to South Central (Winterville, NC).
