The Mapleton Mounties smashed the host Northwestern Huskies soccer squad by a margin of 6-0 in Monday's non-league match.
The Mounties now sport a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Hillsdale for a non-league match on Saturday, August 26. Mapleton will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Aquinas (Louisville, OH). The Falcons record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Northwestern drops to 1-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to Rittman (Rittman, OH) to encounter the Indians in a Wayne County match on Tuesday, August 29. The Indians come into the match with a record of 0-0.
