The North Cobb Christian Eagles held off the visiting Pope Greyhounds volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milton for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 29.
The Greyhounds (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Sequoyah (Canton, GA). The Chiefs enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Sequoyah was nudged by Pope (Marietta, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
