In Monday's non-league battle, the host Henderson County Colonels soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Apollo Eagles.
The Colonels (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Caldwell County (Princeton, KY). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Caldwell County by Todd County Central (Elkton, KY), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Daviess County (Owensboro, KY). The Panthers come into the District 9 battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Daviess County nudged Greenwood (Bowling Green, KY), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
