Georgia High School Softball - Atkinson County bounces Treutlen

August 21, 2023: Pearson, GA 31642

The Atkinson County Rebels routed the visiting Treutlen Vikings softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Rebels (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Charlton County (Folkston, GA). The Indians go into the 1A D-II Region 2 battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Charlton County topped Turner County (Ashburn, GA), 11-6, in a league battle.

The Vikings now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Wilcox County for a 1A D-II Region 4 battle on Thursday, August 24. Treutlen will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 9-2 non-league loss to Wayne County (Jesup, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-4.
