John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Stratford Academy Eagles (Macon, GA), 7-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Trinity Christian for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 22. John Milledge Academy will battle a Crusaders squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, Stratford Academy falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Windsor Academy (Macon, GA) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 22. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Windsor Academy won 17-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Twiggs Academy (Jeffersonville, GA)
