The Bulldogs now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Cozad for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 22. North Platte will battle a Haymakers squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to York (York, NE). The Haymakers record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Kearney falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bearcats host Fremont (Fremont, NE) to battle the Tigers in a A District challenge on Thursday, August 24. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. Fremont won 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE)
