The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Raleigh Lions (Raleigh, MS) and the visiting Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS), saw Raleigh's volleyball squad beat Amite County by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Raleigh upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Lions travel to Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 22. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Northeast Jones lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS)

The Trojans now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Natchez for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 24. Amite County will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Florence (Florence, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
