The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Johnson County Longhorns (Mountain City, TN) and the host Holston Cavaliers (Damascus, VA), saw Johnson County's volleyball squad beat Holston by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Johnson County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Longhorns host Unicoi County (Erwin, TN) to play the Blue Devils in a AA District 1 bout on Tuesday, August 22. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Unicoi County won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC)

The Cavaliers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Grayson County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29.
