The McLean County Cougars topped the visiting Hopkins County Central Storm volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Butler County for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 22. McLean County will confront a Bears team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Russellville (Russellville, KY). The Bears record now stands at 2-2.
The Storm (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Trigg County (Cadiz, KY). The Wildcats enter the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Trigg County dropped by Fort Campbell (Fort Campbell, KY), 3-1, in a non-league test.
