The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers topped the visiting Staunton River Golden Eagles volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cavaliers now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salem for a non-league test on Thursday, August 24. Jefferson Forest will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-0.
The Golden Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Warriors enter the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Magna Vista gained a win over Chatham (Chatham, VA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
