The Plano Reapers held off the visiting Sandwich Indians volleyball team by a count of 2-1 in Monday's non-league game.

The Reapers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Coal City for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 22. Plano will meet a Coalers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Prairie Central (Fairbury, IL). The Coalers record now stands at 0-1.

The Indians (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL). The Skyhawks enter the Kishwaukee River game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Johnsburg was nudged by Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL), 2-1, in a league game.
