Utah High School Baseball - Green River defeats Pinnacle

August 21, 2024: Price, UT 84501

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Green River Pirates (Green River, UT) and the host Pinnacle Panthers (Price, UT), saw Green River's baseball team gain a win over Pinnacle by a tally of 15-10.

The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Altamont (Altamont, UT). The Longhorns enter the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Altamont held off Maeser Prep Academy (Lindon, UT), 20-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the Bryce Valley Mustangs (Tropic, UT) in a 1A - South battle, on Wednesday, August 28. Pinnacle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 9-0 record after their 9-4 league win over Valley (Orderville, UT).
